Doncaster tips

Doncaster is situated on Town Moor, Yorkshire, and is home of one of the worlds oldest races - the St Leger. The St Leger four day September festival, is the fifth and final classic of the british horse racing season. Doncaster opens the UK flat season with the 1 mile Lincoln handicap and closes with the final group 1 race [Racing Post trophy] in October. While the November handicap brings Doncaster and the UK flat season to an end. The highlight of Doncaster jumps and national hunt season is the great yorkshire steeplechase in January.
