Cheltenham hosts the cream of the UK National Hunt season – the four day Cheltenham Festival meeting held in March each year.
The undulations, fences and uphill finish - test the strength and abilities of both race horse and jockey. Cheltenham racecourse has three racecourses – the Old, the new and the Cross Country racecourse.
The Old Course is used for the first two days (including the Champion Hurdle) of the ferstival and the the new course for the 3rd and 4th days (including the Gold Cup).
A key indicator for winners at Cheltenham is trainer form. Looking over the past few weeks and past festival winners, horses from the following stables should be watched closely during the 2008 festival :-
